Miss and Teen Horsemanship Pattern

 Ride Pattern as Follows:

• Walk from the gate and proceed to point B
• First figure eight should begin to the right and be smaller and slower
• Second figure eight should be larger and faster; then, after the final lead change break down into a walk or a trot and proceed to point D
• Run to the far end of the arena and slide stop; then, turn away from the rail
• Begin run to the other end of the arena and slide stop; then, turn away from the rail
• Make a short run past the center of the arena and slide stop
• Back up to the center of the arena
• Walk a few steps toward the judges
• Quarter turn to the left or right
• Half turn in the opposite direction taken in I
• Quarter turn in the opposite direction taken in J
• At the conclusion of the pattern, walk to the judges and dismount to answer questions.
